WorkCover refers to the protection and compensation framework in New South Wales (NSW), comprised of three independent bodies:
SafeWork NSW: The authority responsible for regulating work health and safety.
SIRA: The State Insurance Regulation Authority, which oversees insurance regulation.
icare: Insurance and Care NSW, which provides care and collaborates with rehabilitation companies and counselling services to ensure your needs are met. This includes approving counselling when required.

To access counselling services under work cover, you need an approved claim with an active claim number.
